  • Pacific Coast Savings Foundation (Victoria)

    The Foundation’s mission is to use its resources for the benefit of British Columbians by supporting efforts that improve all aspects of land use and real estate practices. The Real Estate Foundation provides both project funding and endowment grants to nonprofit organizations.
  • Rick Hansen Institute, The (Vancouver)
    Works to find a cure for paralysis and to improve the lives of people with disabilities. The Institute also awards millions of dollars in research and rehabilitation grants.
  • Surrey Foundation Youth Council (Surrey)
    SFYC is a non-profit organization that provides funding to other non-profit community groups in Surrey, BC, that are for youth and by youth.
  • VanCity Community Foundation (Vancouver)
    Gives support to community-based innovations which produce: affordable housing; employment development; and non-profit enterprise. The core endowment fund of the Foundation comes from a dividend share from VanCity as well as donors’ bequests and other gifts. The foundation funds nonprofits in BC’s Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley and Victoria region.
  • Vancouver Foundation (Vancouver)
    A philanthropic non-governmental community foundation which operates primarily as a permanent collection of endowed funds. Income derived from the investment of the pooled capital of Vancouver Foundation’s endowments is distributed to support the activities of charitable organizations across British Columbia. The Foundation is now the steward of some 560 endowment funds with a capital of $500 million. It is the largest community foundation in Canada and the fifth largest in North America.
  • Victoria Foundation (Vancouver Island)
    The foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in southern Vancouver Island through the creation and management of funds gifted in perpetuity, and the distribution of their earnings for charitable purposes including social services, culture, health and education.
  • Westminster Savings Foundation (New Westminster)
    The Westminster Savings Foundation was established in 1992 as a means of sharing the Westminster Savings Credit Union’s financial success with local charitable and nonprofit groups.
